PAYMENT POLICY

We make every effort to provide patients with optimal care at a sensible cost, following the fee guides published yearly by the Ontario Dental Association.

For your convenience, we accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit, cash or cheque.

The patient is fully responsible for all fees charged by this office, on the day of service, regardless of insurance coverage.

DENTAL INSURANCE?

If you are fortunate to have some dental insurance, we will help you maximize their contribution to your care. However, we are a “non-assignment” office. What this means is that payment for your treatment is due at the time service is rendered. And if your dental insurance company pays a portion of your service(s), you will then be reimbursed directly from the insurance company. Although, as a courtesy, we are able to help expedite a pre-determination for treatment, and notify them when your treatment is rendered, you are ultimately responsible for payment of your service(s), realizing that your pre-determination is only an estimate of your coverage, for your proposed treatment, and not a guarantee that they will reimburse you. You thus have a contract with your dental insurance carrier, and a relationship with us. However, we do not have a relationship with your dental insurance.

If you do have dental insurance, please bring your card to your first visit with us.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We kindly ask patients to give 48-hour notice if they are unable to attend an appointment. If a patient misses an appointment without proper notice, a cancellation fee will be charged.

For surgical procedures, we require a notice of five business days to change or cancel your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee.
